Deliciously lazy, you'll find this quick-fix fudge a fantastic kitchen cheat. Just mix, knead, roll, cut into shapes and leave to harden overnight.

Fudge:

175g (6oz) Stork packet
Half a 405g can sweetened condensed skimmed milk
800g (1¾lb) icing sugar, sieved
55g (2oz) dried cherries
55g (2oz) dried blueberries
55g (2oz) walnuts, chopped
Icing sugar, to dust

Method:

  1. Put the Stork and condensed milk into a large mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
  2. Gradually work in the icing sugar, cherries, blueberries, and walnuts, then knead slightly.
  3. Dust a surface with icing sugar, turn the mixture out onto it, and roll to around ½ inch thick.
  4. Cut into whatever shapes take your fancy, and leave to harden overnight. That’s it.
